Savings Bank of Maine's automated 24 hour telephone banking system gives you immediate access to the information you need most often. Just call 588-2264 or 1-800-596-4300 (if Gardiner is a toll call) from any touch tone phone to:
- Make checking and savings account balance inquiries.
- Determine the last six transactions on your account.
- Transfer money from one account to another. *
Using the System
When using Savings Bank of Maine 24 Hour Customer Service, please have your account number handy. As a security precaution, the first time you call, you will be asked for the last four digits of the social security number associated with the first name on your account. You will then be instructed how to create a four digit Personal Identification Number that only you know. (Give this number some thought before you call, to be sure it’s something you’ll remember easily.)
STEP ONE – Call 588-2264 or 1-800-596-4300 (if Gardiner is a toll call) from any touch tone phone, anytime.
STEP TWO – After the greeting, you will be offered a series of menu selections from which to choose. Access these selections from the Opening Menu simply by pressing the corresponding number on your telephone.
